We have just advertised three ERC-funded PhD studentships on the EUROFARM project, dealing with archaeobotany, landscape use (geoarchaeology), and lithic analysis respectively. Based at UCL Institute of Archaeology, London, the PhDs will work alongside the project PI and the zooarchaeology specialist over the next three years, and will be involved in fieldwork and museum research in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. The deadline for applications is April 8th 2013.
The fully-funded studentships will start on September 23rd 2013 and are open to UK or EU nationals who hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject by that date. In addition, the lithics PhD is open to qualified applicants from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro on the same terms as UK/EU applicants.
Full specifications, eligibility details, and application instructions for each of the three studentships are available via the above links. Enquiries may be directed to the Institute of Archaeology Graduate Programmes Administrator Lisa Daniels or to the PI of the project Marc Vander Linden.
